Important Notes for Judokas

• Rank & Color: It is crucial to choose the appropriate belt color for your level and rank in Judo, as different colors are associated with different Kyū (colored belts) and Dan (black/higher grades) ranks.  
• Fit & Tying: The belt should be worn just above the hip bone and tied tightly. When tied properly, the ends starting from the central knot must have a length between 20 and 30 cm each.
